This is a brief primer on formatting documents using HTML tags.

You can make words appear in a few special fonts and styles (like italics or bold) by inserting a pair of coded cues around the text in question in the form

<CUE>This text looks different</CUE>

where the word CUE dictates what kind of effect you are going for. Here is a list of accepted values for CUE, showing fonts and styles, as well as the way to set up ordered and unordered lists:



B - It was the best of times
CODE - It was the worst of times
EM - It was the age of wisdom
I - It was the age of foolishness
STRIKE - It was the era of belief
STRONG - It was the epoch of belief
U - It was the epoch of incredulity

CENTER - It was the season of Light
