DemosNews: There’s Oil and There’s Oil
There’s Oil and There’s Oil
By: George Sullivan

Clifford Krauss, in today's New York Times, points out that some big oil producing countries now consume so much oil internally that they have begun to import it. They cite Indonesia as example.

I wonder whether the situation there isn't that Indonesia exports its high quality, low sulphur (low pollution) oil to wealthy developed countries, then imports base quality which it sells cheaply to fire its own buses and trucks and factories, no matter that it poisons the air.
